Voting For Our Future on Fantastic Friday
Dear Friends,
Today is the last Fantastic Friday before the 2020 General Election – the most important election of many of our lifetimes. So much is on the ballot this Tuesday, and it’s important that we make our voices heard, and that we cast our votes the next seven generations in our minds.
If you are not registered to vote, you can still cast a ballot this Tuesday! Washington State allows for day of, in-person registration. While you are no longer able to register by mail or online, you can click here to find your county elections department where you can register on Election Day!
If you are registered to vote, that is fantastic! Ballots were sent out to all registered voters several weeks ago, and I hope you have taken the time to fill them out and return them. If you haven’t yet, it’s incredibly important that you use one of the secure ballot drop boxes – it is too late to send in your ballot through the mail.
Check out the links below to find your nearest drop box:
If you have already voted, thank you! You can check your ballot status to make sure it was received and counted by entering your name and birthday on the Secretary of State’s website. Once you enter that information, click on “Ballot Status” on the left side of the page, and see if your ballot has been marked as “accepted!” Note from the SOS: Please allow 3-5 business days for your ballot to be posted as received.
If you have more questions about your ballot, you can call the WA State Democrats’ Voter Protection Hotline at 206-309-8683 any day between 8:00 am – 9:00 pm! You’ll talk to a friendly person who will be happy to help you with any last questions you might have about your ballot.
I’m so grateful to all of the candidates who have worked hard and campaigned across Washington State – it is always inspiring to see such dedication to public service, and such passion for helping other Washingtonians.
Keep scrolling for a list of the candidates that I’m endorsing this election – I hope they can count on your support as well!
