As you may have heard, Governor Inslee announced today that all public and private schools in Washington will be closed from March 17 through April 24 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. I am grateful that our Governor and all state and local leaders are doing everything possible to keep us all safe.
These temporary measures might not be easy. Please be kind and patient with all and reach out to neighbors, especially our elders, to see if they need help in the weeks ahead. You can visit the websites for your local county health departments to find the latest information and recommendations for your region. Please see the links for the 40th LD counties below.
Our community is strong because we all come to the table to support one another during the best of times and the most difficult of times. Please stay healthy and well 40th LD.
